Henry, North Star Henry, the barber

Robert Sidney Mellette (born 17 January 1962; age 54) is the actor who appeared as Henry, the barber in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "North Star". As a background actor he received no credit for his appearance.

Mellette was born in Alexandria, Virginia. He is primarily a writer and producer, who wrote the story for the Xena: Warrior Princess episode "The Xena Scrolls" in 1997. He wrote and directed the film Jacks or Better (2000), which starred Nathan Anderson, and for which he earned four awards: the Dances With Films Award for best screenplay and three River Run International Film Festival Awards in the categories Jury Prize and Audience Choice Award.

Mellette served as script coordinator for the films Nutty Professor II: The Klumps (2000) and Blue Crush (2002), and wrote the book Children of the Trees: A Guidebook for the Journey Through Your Emotional Forest.

As an actor, he appeared in supporting roles in the films Too Young the Hero (1988), The Boston Strangler (2006, with Dominic Calandra), Glitch (2007), and Forever (2007). He also played a role in the television series Cedric the Entertainer Presents... and was in the green screen suit for Gossimer in the animated comedy Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003).

Beginning in 2007, he served as producer for several independent and short films.
