Robert Consing (born 25 September 1970; age 46) is a Storyboard Artist who worked on the 2016 sequel Star Trek Beyond, helmed by Justin Lin, since March 2015. [1]

Consing has been working as storyboard artist from the early 1990s on. Among his credits are the fantasy comedy Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991, starring William Sadler), the drama The Rapture (1991), the video game adaptation Super Mario Bros. (1993), the science fiction thriller Demolition Man (1993, with Bill Cobbs, Bob Gunton, Mark Colson, Kristopher Logan, and Tracee Cocco), the action film Terminal Velocity (1994), the comic adaptation Batman Forever (1995, with Ed Begley, Jr. and Rene Auberjonois), the science fiction film Judge Dredd (1995, with Joanna Miles, Maurice Roëves, and Mitchell Ryan), the action thriller The Rock (1996), the thriller Face/Off (1997), the science fiction film Armageddon (1998), the comic adaptation Inspector Gadget (1999), and the horror thriller The Haunting (1999).

Further credits include the action sequels Mission: Impossible II (2000) and Mission: Impossible III (2006, directed by J.J. Abrams), the war drama Pearl Harbor (2001), the crime thriller Swordfish (2001), the science fiction thriller Minority Report (2002, with Neal McDonough), the sequel X2 (2003, directed, written, and produced by Bryan Singer, starring Patrick Stewart, Famke Janssen, and Bruce Davison, and produced by Stan Lee and Ralph Winter), the sequels Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003, starring Kristanna Loken) and Bad Boys II (2003, starring Gabrielle Union), the action comedy Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005), the science fiction thriller The Island (2005), the drama World Trade Center (2006), the comic adaptation Transformers (2007, written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman) and its sequel Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), the science fiction thriller Jumper (2008), the fantasy film Proest (2011, with Karl Urban), the comic reboot The Amazing Spider-Man (2011) and its sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), the sequel Iron Man 3 (2013), and the horror thriller World War Z (2013).

More recently, Consing worked as storyboard artist on the science fiction thriller Edge of Tomorrow (2014), the comic adaptation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014, with Whoopi Goldberg and Derek Mears), the science fiction thriller Insurgent (2015), the action sequel Furious Seven (2015, with Dwayne Johnson, music by Brian Tyler, cinematography by Stephen F. Windon, and costume design by Sanja Milkovic Hays), the science fiction sequel Jurassic World (2015, music by Michael Giacchino), and the comic adaptation The Sinister Six (2016).
