Ricky Luna (born 16 June 1977; age 46) is a Latin Grammy-award winning, multi-platinum music producer, songwriter, and actor who who played the linguistic student Carlos in the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Broken Bow". Luna shot his scenes on 19 June 2001 on location in Malibu.
Luna has been successful in both the film and television music world. His music has been licensed for a number of films and TV shows including The Fate Of The Furious, Fast & Furious 9, Tomb Raider, Dora The Explorer: The Movie, Power Rangers, 22 Jump Street, Ride Along 2, Step Up, Empire, Lethal Weapon, UFC and EA Sports.
In addition to his television and film music, Luna also produced, co-wrote, and remixed music for Pitbull, Exile The Second, David Guetta, Maroon 5, Lil Jon, Big Bang, Exile Tribe, Dolly Parton, and Britney Spears, among others.
Among his acting resume are films such as the family fantasy movie Casper Meets Wendy (1998, with Terri Garr and Vincent Schiavelli), the television drama A Family in Crisis: The Elian Gonzalez Story (2000, with Jim Metzler, Tony Amendola, and Simon Billig), the television special The Brothers Garcia: Mysteries of the Maya (2003), and War of the Worlds (2005, with Stephen Gevedon, Becky Ann Baker, Dendrie Taylor, Art Chudabala, and Rachelle Roderick).
Luna has also appeared as an actor in television series such as MMC (The All New Mickey Mouse Club), Judging Amy (1999, with Kelly Curtis, Morgan Nagler, Claudette Sutherland, and Kitty Swink), Angel (2000), Boston Public (2000, with Susan Savage), One World (2000, with Michelle Krusiec), The Huntress (2001, with Granville Ames and John Pyper-Ferguson), Girlfriends (2002, executive produced by Kelsey Grammer), ER (2003, with Lily Mariye), Lizzie McGuire (2003, with Hallie Todd and Davida Williams), and The Brothers Garcia (2003, with Ada Maris and Carlos LaCamara).
