Rick Avery is a stuntman, stunt coordinator, stunt actor and second unit director who performed stunts as a Maquis colonist in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Preemptive Strike" (without a credit) and served as the stunt coordinator for Star Trek: Insurrection. On the Star Trek: Insurrection (Special Edition) DVD feature "Anatomy of a Stunt", he's describing the making of a stunt scene, a 30 ft. high fall from a cliff, which was cut from the final aired movie.
