Template:Realworld Richard Poe (born 25 January 1946; age 78) is an actor known for his portrayal of Gul Evek in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. He made all his appearances within a year of each other (early 1994 to early 1995).
Poe starred alongside fellow Trek guest-actor, Kelsey Grammer, in two episodes of Frasier as "Chopper Dave". One of the episodes he appeared in, "Oops", starred John Glover.
On stage, he is remembered for his roles as John Hancock in the 1997 Broadway revival of the musical "1776" (with Brent Spiner and Michael Cumpsty) and as Hasler in the 2006 Broadway revival of the musical "The Pajama Game" (with Michael McKean).
Along with Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Armin Shimerman, John de Lancie and Michael Ansara, he is one of only six actors to play the same character in three different live action Star Trek series.
