Richard Bellis (born 3 April 1946; age 70) is an Emmy-winning composer for television. His extensive credits include composing the music score for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "The House of Quark".

Born in Pasadena, California, Bellis actually began his career in films as an actor. At the age of eight, he appeared in the 1954 science fiction/horror film classic Them!, as did future Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy. He also had guest spots on television shows such as The Millionaire, Cheyenne, and Batman before leaving acting behind and turning his attentions to music.

Since beginning his film scoring career in 1976, Bellis has written music for numerous made-for-TV movies, including several vehicles starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. He also composed the music for all of the Olsen Twins' You're Invited to... videos. He won an Emmy Award for his scoring of the 1990 mini-series It, and was nominated for two more Emmy Awards for his work on the 1991 TV movie Doublecrossed and the 1993 Olsen Twin movie Double, Double, Toil and Trouble.
