Q and Q mating

Reproduction or procreation was the biological process by which offspring are produced. The known methods of biological reproduction were broadly grouped into two main types: sexual and asexual.

Mating rituals helped the procreation of one's species. (DS9: "The Forsaken")

While stationed on Denobula during mating season, doctor Jeremy Lucas wrote that while he used to think Human reproduction was complicated, but Denobulans make them look like single-cell organisms. (ENT: "Cold Station 12")

While on an away mission on Gamma Trianguli VI, Pavel Chekov and Martha Landon discussed their desire to be alone together in a place described as the Garden of Eden, Captain James T. Kirk, who overheard their flirtations, interjected, stating "I know you find each other fascinating, but we're not here to conduct a field experiment in Human biology." Later, when the Feeders of Vaal witnessed the affection between Chekov and Landon, they described the need for "replacements" to be unnecessary, and such acts to be "forbidden by Vaal." In 2267, James T. Kirk tried discussing Vulcan reproduction with Spock by saying that it happened to the birds and the bees. Spock countered that Vulcan reproduction was nothing like that and went on to describe Pon farr, the Vulcan way of mating. (TOS: "Amok Time")

Almost fifty percent of the tribble's metabolism is geared for reproduction. (TOS: "The Trouble with Tribbles")

As a result of their reliance on cloning for reproduction, by the 24th century sexual reproduction was considered a bit repugnant on the Mariposa colony. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder")
