The Doctor with delusions of grandeur… or the holodeck on the fritz?
Background Informaton[]
- The issue was originally solicited for 6 November 1996 and had a cover date of January 1997.
- The Trabe's function in this story was originally to have been filled by the Kazon. Laurie S. Sutton explained, "I wanted the Kazon to be [taking over Voyager], but Paramount told me it would conflict with what was going to happen on the [second] season finale ["Basics, Part I"]. I guess I was on the right track! A minor adjustment had to be made at the last minute in my story. I had to change it to the Trabe." (The Official Star Trek: Voyager Magazine issue 9)
