Template:Realworld Renee Paniccia (nee Pulve) was a comic book designer and artist specializing in colors. She married Mark Paniccia in 1995. ("The Search")

Pulve worked in the comic industry briefly in the mid-1990s working on titles such as Mortal Kombat, Mantra, Ultraforce, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, all for Malibu Comics, primarily as a cover color artist. On the DS9 series, she worked on four issue covers, "Mission of Mercy", "Last Remains", "Blood & Honor", and "The Looking Glass War". Other projects included logo design, trading cards, and editorial pages.

After leaving the industry, she joined Sargent + Berman as a design director, working with executives and design teams through the concept, refinement, and presentation stages of jobs. In 2003, she left to found her own business, Smudge Design Co., where she continues her design work for corporate identity systems, business collateral, apparel, invitations, websites, and packaging.
