The Remington Model 870 was a type of projectile weapon known as a pump-action shotgun.

In 2024, this weapon was standard issue for the San Francisco Police Department. It was equipped with a folding stock. During the Bell Riots, these weapons were acquired by the rioters, who took hostages. Benjamin Sisko, posing as Gabriel Bell, used the shotgun to maintain order and protect the hostages.
