Rebecca Rose is a former actress who was featured in two episodes of the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. She was cast through Central Casting, and was offered a job as a regular background actress but turned it down.
Later, Rose quit her job as model and actress and became a court reporter. She then attended medical school at the University of Michigan and became a surgeon. Today she is working as a surgeon at the Shenandoah Medical Center in Shenandoah, Iowa. [1]
