Rashella
Rashella was a young, female Aldean who was the last of her species born on Aldea prior to 2364.
Along with Radue, she visited the USS Enterprise-D that year after the Aldeans had lured the starship to the Epsilon Mynos system in order to reveal the existence of their planet, till then considered only a myth. In fact, the Aldean civilization was millennia old but despite having survived that long the culture was on the brink of collapse as a result of radiation poisoning from the depletion of their ozone layer. The Aldeans had been rendered sterile from ultraviolet radiation, a condition whose impact Rashella felt particularly strongly.
Rashella and Radue led the effort to kidnap the Enterprise's children in an attempt to repopulate their society. Rashella became particularly attached to the youngest child, Alexandra, and refused to turn her over to her unit, the Aldean social group that would be responsible for Alexandra's well-being and education.
