Ransom Gates (born 26 August 1961; age 62) is a stuntman who performed stunts as Crewman O'Donnell in the Star Trek: Voyager third and fourth season episodes "Worst Case Scenario" and "Hope and Fear" under Stunt Coordinator Dennis Madalone. He received no credit for these appearances.

Gates worked on stunt safety on the television show Guinness World Records: Primetime (1998) and as assistant stunt coordinator on The Christmas Secret (2000, stunt coordination by Charlie Croughwell).

As stunt performer he worked on V.I.P., The Enforcers (2001, with James Marsters, Rife Sibley, and David Sparrow), The Shield (starring Michael Jace, Jay Karnes, and Benito Martinez), and CSI: Miami, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998, stunt coordination by Noon Orsatti), Planet of the Apes (2001, co-coordinated by Charlie Croughwell and with stunts by Joey Anaya, Joni Avery, Eileen Weisinger, Simone Boisseree, Tony Brubaker, Leigh Hennessy, Lisa Hoyle, Jim Palmer, and Denney Pierce), Ocean's Eleven (2001), Minority Report (2002), Men in Black II (2002, coordinated by Charlie Croughwell and with stunts by Joni Avery, Tim Sitarz, Jade Quon, Joey Anaya, Carl Ciarfalio, Dane Farwell, and Alex Madison), Hulk (2003, starring Eric Bana), the drama Stuey (2003, with Michael Nouri and Steven R.
