Randal Patrick (born 19 June 1954; age 69) is the actor who appeared as Crewman #1 in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "Evolution".

Patrick has also appeared on such television series as M*A*S*H (starring David Ogden Stiers), The A-Team (starring Dwight Schultz, Melinda Culea, Lance LeGault, and William Lucking), and Alice (starring Victor Tayback). Another show he appeared on was the 1990 pilot episode for Cop Rock, which also featured Barbara Bosson, Ronny Cox and Star Trek: Voyager star Armin Shimerman. Patrick and Shimerman had shared the screen together in the Dick Lowry-directed TV movie Miracle Landing earlier that year, co-starring with James Cromwell, Jeff Allin, Matt McCoy, and Herta Ware. Patrick also worked for Dick Lowry in a number of other TV movies. These include Kenny Rogers as The Gambler: The Adventure Continues (with Gregory Sierra, Ann Gillespie, and Roy Jenson), A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story (with Stephen Collins, Stephen Root, Susanna Thompson, Thomas Kopache, Brian Markinson, and Jeff Allin), and Forgotten Sins (with Warren Munson), as well as three movies with the In the Line of Duty banner (1988's The F.B.I. Murders with Ronny Cox, Deborah May, and David Soul; 1990's A Cop for the Killing with Steven Weber, Tony Plana, and Bruce French; and 1991's Manhunt in the Dakotas). Patrick also worked with Lowry on the 1986 mini-series Dream West, as did F. Murray Abraham, Jeff Allin, Erich Anderson, John Anderson, Lee Bergere, James Cromwell, Michael Ensign, Jonathan Frakes, Alice Krige, Matt McCoy, Glenn Morshower, Fritz Weaver, Noble Willingham, and Anthony Zerbe.

Patrick's other TV credits include the movies Roe vs. Wade (with Jeff Allin, James Avery, Daniel Benzali, David L. Crowley, Glenn Morshower, George Murdock, Randy Oglesby, Terry O'Quinn, and Kenneth Tigar) and By Dawn's Early Light (with Nicholas Coster, Daniel Benzali, Robert O'Reilly, Ann Gillespie, Glenn Morshower, and Steve Rankin).

After making his film debut in 1980's Carny, starring Meg Foster, Elisha Cook, Bert Remsen, and Craig Wasson, Patrick went on to appear in such films as Hopscotch (with Anne Haney), Zapped! (1982, with Merritt Butrick, Ed Bakey, and Carlos LaCamara), Impure Thoughts (1986, starring Brad Dourif), Weekend Warriors (1986, with Vic Tayback, Graham Jarvis, Matt McCoy, Camille Saviola, and Mark L. Taylor), Project X (1987, with William Sadler, Robin Gammell, Daniel Roebuck, Shelly Desai, and Dick Miller), and Born in East L.A. (1987, with Tony Plana, Mark L. Taylor, and Noble Willingham), Dead Aim (1987,with Corbin Bernsen and William Windom), Funland (1987, starring William Windom and David L. Lander), and Fast Food (1989, with Michael J. Pollard). His role in the latter film, as one of the two leads, is his largest to date.
