For the species in the Delta Quadrant, please see Ram Izad.

The planet Rahm-Izad was located in the Rahm-Izad system. This system was located within Sector 21459/Subsector 3383 of the Beta Quadrant.

The planet was used by Captain Jean-Luc Picard in 2369 as a ruse to throw Gul Ocett off the trail of the mystery surrounding the ancient humanoids. While Ocett believed that the last missing DNA fragment was located here, it was in fact located on Vilmor II. (TNG: "The Chase")
