Radue was leader of the Planet Aldea which was visited by the USS Enterprise in 2364. The Aldeans under his leadership kidnaped several children from the Enterprise in order to perpetuate their race. The Aldeans had become sterile due to their protective shield over the planet. After persuading Radue to release the children, the Enterprise repaired the planet's atmosphere and Dr. Crusher gave them medicine to help their condition.
