Changes: Q'ell

Q'ell was a member of an alien species and a resident of the deuterium mining colony visited by Enterprise NX-01 in 2152.

Commander Tucker befriended Q'ell when he caught the youth sneaking into his shuttlepod. Q'ell expressed a strong curiosity towards spaceflight technology. Tucker offered to take him to Enterprise for a tour.

The colony was terrorized by Klingon marauders who would steal the deuterium. One time when the colonists tried to stand up to the Klingons, his father was killed. After the crew of Enterprise had trained the colonists to fight, and prepared for the return of the Klingons, Q'ell was told to hide during the battle in a canyon. At first, he refused, but Tucker persuaded him to do so.

Shortly before the crew of Enterprise left, Tucker gave Q'ell a PADD with schematics of Enterprise. (ENT: "Marauders")

Q'ell was played by actor Jesse James Rutherford.

The Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 191) stated Q'ell's parents were killed by Klingon marauders in 2149.
