Pulmonary regeneration was a medical procedure that B'Elanna Paris had to undergo in the immediate aftermath of Harry Kim's "rogue" attack on a Nasari vessel. Kes and The Doctor successfully combined the procedure with pulmozine therapy to correct the second-degree burns the chief engineer had received to her lungs. (VOY: "Favorite Son")
