Provider 2 a member of a race who were once humanoid, but evolved into disembodied brains due to their devotion to intellectual pursuits. He and two of his fellow companions lived on the planet Triskelion. He would place bets with the others on who would win gladiator matches between humanoids that they had abducted. (TOS: "The Gamesters of Triskelion)

Provider 3 was a member a species who were human but had become non corporeal brains. He and two others like him dwelled below the surface of the planet Triskelion. For their own entertainment, they abducted humanoid species which they called "thralls" for gladiatorial games, which each Provider wager on. Captain James Kirk and two of his crew were captured and forced by them to fight in this manner. (TOS: "The Gamesters of Triskelion)
