- The November edition of the magazine DGA Monthly is listing director Winrich Kolbe in its in memoriam section. A family member confirmed, that Kolbe passed away in late September 2012. Kolbe directed 48 episodes of all four Star Trek spin-off series. [1]

- Actor Lance LeGault, known for his performance as Captain K'Temoc in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "The Emissary", passed away. He was 77.
