Vaadwaur homeworld

Turei plasma bombs descend amongst Vaadwaur ruins.

A plasma bomb is a type of plasma-based weapon. In 1484, the Turei and their allies used plasma bombs in a massive orbital bombardment of the Vaadwaur homeworld, nearly wiping out the Vaadwaur species and rendering the surface uninhabitable through radiation.

In 2376, the USS Voyager came under attack by Turei plasma bombs after taking shelter on the Vaadwaur homeworld. The Turei later redirected their bombs towards a number of Vaadwaur assault fighters, and the underground chamber where a group of Vaadwaur had survived for 900 years in stasis.
