Background
The part of Pitcairn was played by Clegg Hoyt, but his voice was supplied by Robert Johnson. Beyond filmed canon, Pitcairn was also featured in the comic book series Star Trek: Early Voyages, it was stated he was a chief petty officer and his full name was Nils Pitcairn.
