Pineapple is a fruit native to the planet Earth.

It was Malcolm Reed's favorite food. Ensign Hoshi Sato was told this by Phlox and prepared it for Lieutenant Reed as a pineapple cake for his birthday. (ENT: "Silent Enemy")
