Phyllis Thurber-Moffit is a dyer and textile artist in the wardrobe and costume department who worked as dyer/ager on 2009's Star Trek and who according worked as lead dyer on Star Trek Into Darkness.

Her previous credits within the costume department include the fantasy drama Edward Scissorhands (1990, starring Winona Ryder), the comedy Out on a Limb (1992), Steven Spielberg's blockbuster Jurassic Park (1993) and its sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), the action drama Volcano (1997), the science fiction drama The Postman (1997), the fantasy comedy Mystery Men (1999), the action drama Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), the comedy Hoot (2006), and the crime drama 3:10 to Yuma (2007).

More recently, she worked as textile artist on the fantasy film Jonah Hex (2010) and the musical drama Burlesque (2010, with department head Michael Kaplan).
