Peter Webb (died 5 April 2017) was an Australian visual effects artist who specialized in Flame, one of the first software-only image compositing products, with which he used as an uncredited digital compositor on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Early credits as digital animator and compositor include Super Mario Bros. (1993), Coneheads (1993), Man's Best Friend (1993), Terminal Velocity (1994), Batman Forever (1995), and the television mini series The Thorn Birds: The Missing Years (1996). Webb worked as visual effects designer on Romeo + Juliet (1996), along with Peter W. Moyer. Further credits include the television thriller The Ripper (1997), Dead Letter Office (1998), the television series The Genie From Down Under 2 (1998), the television adventure Noah's Ark (1999), The Dish (2000), the fantasy film The Inside Story (2002), Pirate Islands (2003), House of Flying Daggers (2004), and Look Both Ways (2005).

In 2002 and 2005 he received Golden Horse Award nominations in the category Best Visual Effects at the Golden Horse Film Festival for his work on the mystery thriller Shuang tong (2002) and the fantasy film Qi Jian (2005). For both films he also received Hong Kong Film Award nominations in the category Best Visual Effects. In 2010, Webb was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in the category Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special for his work on the television mini series The Pacific, shared with John Sullivan and Jerry Pooler. In 2012 he received an AACTA Award nomination for Best Visual Effects from the Australian Film Institute for his work on Sanctum (2011).

From 2005, Webb worked as visual effects artist and supervisor for the production company Iloura for which he worked on Catch a Fire (2006), The Bank Job (2008), the drama Australia (2008), the drama Ru meng (2009), Red Hill (2010), The Warrior's Way (2010), Killer Elite (2011), Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2011), and Ted (2012).
