(written from a Production point of view)

Peter Sattler is a graphic artist who worked as a graphic designer on 2009's Star Trek from November 2007 through 8 January 2008.

Sattler graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts in 2001, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Filmmaking and Directing. He began his professional Hollywood career as an on-set dresser for the David Gordon Green films All the Real Girls and Undertow before moving on to graphic design.

His first film as graphic designer was 2005's The Wendell Baker Story, a comedy starring TNG guest actor Seymour Cassel. He has since done graphic design work on such films as the acclaimed biographical drama Walk the Line, Paramount's Black Snake Moan, and Disney's The Game Plan (starring The Rock). He also did some uncredited freelance design work on films like We Are Marshall and The Great Debaters.

In addition to Star Trek, upcoming projects on which Sattler has worked include Paramount's NowhereLand, starring Eddie Murphy, Ronny Cox, and Vanessa Williams.
