Peter Sidney Lawford (1923-1984) was a popular actor and Las Vegas entertainer during the 1950s and 1960s. Peter was so popular, in fact, he was included in the holosuite program Bashir 62, a 24th century rendition of 1962. At the time, Peter was married to the sister of John F. Kennedy, and was close friends with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Joey Bishop.

That year, Vic Fontaine interrupted a heart-to-heart he was having with Quark, because he and his lady friend, Ginger, were on their way out to see Pete and Jimmy perform at the Sands Hotel. (DS9: "What You Leave Behind")

Lawford, Sinatra, Martin, Davis and Bishop were together members of the legendary Rat Pack.
