Perri Sorel is a makeup artist who worked on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. In 1997, Sorel earned an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Makeup for a Series for the Deep Space Nine episode "Apocalypse Rising", shared with Michael Westmore, Camille Calvet, Karen Iverson, Ellis Burman, Jr., R. Stephen Weber, David Quashnick, Dean Jones, Mark Bussan, Brad Look, Belinda Bryant, James MacKinnon, Allan A. Apone, Mary Kay Morse, John Maldonado, Karen Westerfield, and Lisa Collins.
In 1999 Sorel won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Makeup for a Series for the work on The X-Files episodes "Two Fathers" and "One Son", shared with Trek alumni Mark Shostrom, Rick Stratton, Jake Garber, Craig Reardon, Steve LaPorte, and Kevin Haney. Two more Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Makeup for a Series (Non-Prosthetic) followed in 2005 for the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "Ch-Ch-Changes" and in 2006 for the CSI: New York episode "Wasted", shared with James MacKinnon.
Sorel worked as key makeup artist on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation between 2000 and 2005 along with Clinton Wayne, Ruth Haney, Lee Ann Brittenham, Teressa Hill, Roxy D'Alonzo, and Judy Crown and as makeup department head on the spin-off CSI: New York between 2005 and 2009, along with James MacKinnon, Ken Niederbaumer, Judy Crown, Ruth Haney, Roxy D'Alonzo, Brad Scott, Lisa Collins, and David Abbott.
Other credits in the makeup department include the horror thriller Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984), the drama Silent Witness (1985), the thriller Summer Camp Nightmare (1987), the television western Where the Hell's That Gold?!!? (1988), the western drama Blood Red (1989), the comedy Ski Patrol (1990), the action drama Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991, with Karen Iverson and Donna Cicatelli-Lewis), Steven Spielberg's drama Amistad (1997, with Ve Neill, Richard Snell, Alicia M. Tripi, and Julia L. Walker), the thriller Zero Effect (1998), the science fiction thriller Species II (1998, with Christopher Allen Nelson, Richard Snell, and Dave Snyder), the mystery thriller Stigmata (1999, with James MacKinnon, Ve Neill, and Debbie Zoller), and the television series ER (2001-2003, with Rolf John Keppler and Brian A. Tunstall).
