Paul Townsend (born 27 July 1961; age 62) is an actor and stuntman who appeared as a North Star cowboy in the Star Trek: Enterprise third season episode "North Star". He received no credit for his appearance. More recently he filmed scenes as a security officer for Star Trek. [1]

Townsend was born in Orange County, California. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater when he graduated from the UCLA in 1984. Townsend studied acting under Michelle Danner and Jeff Corey and is skilled in voice work, martial arts, gun slinging, weapons work, and horseback riding.

Townsend appeared in several television series, including High Tide, Renegade (1994, episode Charlie, with Branscombe Richmond, Geoffrey Blake, Ellen Bry, and Daniel Riordan), Silk Stalkings (1997, episode Guilt by Association, with Rebecca McFarland and Amy Lindsay), Sheena (2001), Charmed (2006), and Monk (2006, , under stunt coordinator Charlie Brewer).

Beside several commercials and video games, he performed supporting parts and stunts in films such as the short film Dragonstrike (1993), the fantasy film Beastmaster: The Eye of Braxus (1996, with Tony Todd, Patrick Kilpatrick, David Warner, and stunts by Dana Hee), Joe Dante's Small Soldiers (1998, with Kirsten Dunst, Dick Miller, Wendy Schaal, Robert Picardo, and Frank Langella), the thriller Blood Money (1999, with Alicia Coppola, Raymond Cruz, and Gregory Sierra), and the adventure film National Treasure (2004, with Christopher Plummer).
