Paul Pope (born 25 September 1970; age 53) is a comic book artist. Born in Ohio, he was influenced by Heavy Metal magazine and began his own publishing label, Horse Press, in the early 1990s, publishing under the pseudonym "Ira Rubin". In 1994, he debuted THB and followed this up with magazines such as Buzz Buzz and P City Parade.

He has worked for Kodansha, a Japanese Manga publishing since the mid-1990s, and DC Comics since 1997 where he worked on Hellblazer, The Batman Chronicles, and Heavy Liquid.

He provided the artwork for the comic story "When Worlds Collide: Spock Confronts the Ultimate Challenge" in the May 2009 issue of Wired.
