Patric J. Abaravich is an electrician and lighting technician in the camera and electrical department who worked one Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, and several Star Trek films. For most of his work he received no credit.

Abaravich worked as gaffer, technician, electrician, and chief lighting technician on a number of projects including the comedy The Happy Hooker Goes to Washington (1977), the television movie Rage (1983, with Seymour Cassel), the horror comedy Monster in the Closet (1986), the thriller Thunder Run (1986), the war drama Vengeance of a Soldier (1986), the action drama Omega Syndrome (1987), the horror film Night Screams (1988), the romance Two Moon Junction (1988, with Louise Fletcher), the action film Silent Assassins (1988), the horror film Phantasm II (1988), the television series Tales from the Crypt (1989), the horror comedy Chrome Hearts (1989, with Lycia Naff), the action film Tango & Cash (1989, with Teri Hatcher), the science fiction comedy Spaced Invaders (1990), the action sequel Another 48 Hrs. (1990), the television series The Fanelli Boys (1990-1991), the crime drama Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991), the comedy Wayne's World (1992) and its sequel Wayne's World 2 (1993), the science fiction comedy Coneheads (1993), the drama Forrest Gump (1994), the thriller Clear and Present Danger (1994), the crime drama Primal Fear (1996), the comedy series Fired Up (1997-1998, with Sharon Lawrence and Jonathan Banks), the action thriller Face/Off (1997), the thriller Kiss the Girls (1997, starring Ashley Judd), and the drama The Truman Show (1998).

More recent credits as rigging chief lighting technician include the fantasy film Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004) and the television series Medical Investigation (2004-2005, starring Neal McDonough) and Threshold (2005-2006, with Brent Spiner).
