Patahk was a Romulan soldier assigned to the scoutship Pi. In 2366, Patahk and his co-pilot, Bochra, became stranded on the Federation planet Galorndon Core following the crash of the Pi. Patahk was severely injured in the crash, however, he was later discovered by the crew of the USS Enterprise-D.
Dr. Beverly Crusher attempted to repair Patahk's injuries, however, found surgery on Romulans to be more difficult than anticipated, having worked with the assumption that it would be the same as working on a Vulcan.
