Paramount logo found at the intro of many Star Trek films

Paramount Stage 11 is located on the Paramount Pictures lot in Hollywood, California, USA.

Stage 11 housed the sets for second unit filming for the Star Trek: Voyager pilot episode "Caretaker". On Friday 11 November 1994 several interior shots were filmed with the photo doubles and Robert Beltran. On Wednesday 16 November 1994 special effects supervisor Dan Curry directed the explosion scenes of the Maquis fighter interior and the Caretaker's array destruction. On Thursday 17 November 1994, housed interior sets for re-shoots with Kate Mulgrew, Tim Russ, Garrett Wang, Angela Paton, and background performers.

On Thursday 26 January 1995, Friday 27 January 1995, and Monday 30 January 1995, Stage 11 housed the sets for the exterior plaza scenes for the episode "Prime Factors".

On Tuesday 14 February 1995 and Wednesday 15 February 1995, Paramount Stage 11 was used to film the holodeck forest scenes for the first season episode "Heroes and Demons".

The recreated USS Enterprise sets for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Trials and Tribble-ations" were built on Stage 11 in 1996.

In May 2007, The Trek Movie Report website reported that J.J. Abrams' 2009 film, Star Trek, would – in part – be filmed on Paramount's Stage 11.

Set construction reportedly began in July 2007, utilizing other "historic" Star Trek sound stages including Stages 8, 9, 14, 15, and 18. [1] The film wrapped production on 27 March 2008. [2]
