The Pallas 14 star system prior to the destruction of Alondra
Pallas 14 is a star near the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy. It is the primary for Mantilles, the most remote inhabited system in the Federation. One of the outer planets of the system was Alondra. This planet was consumed by the cosmic cloud creature in 2269. The cloud creature also threatened to engulf Mantilles, before it was convinced by the crew of the USS Enterprise to leave the galaxy. - Pallas 14 was mentioned as a small note on a very large star chart graphic created for TNG: "Conspiracy." It was the image behind the chair in the room where Dexter Remmick was killed. It appears to be located outside of an outlined block, which may indicate that it was not Federation territory at the time.
