Pablo Picasso was a 20th century artist from Earth, a painter who was influential in the Cubist art movement.

In 2366, Jean-Luc Picard painted a picture that was inspired by Picasso's works. Lieutenant Commander Data, who was not too fond of the picture, stated that while "suggesting the free treatment of form usually attributed to Fauvism", the painter "quite inappropriately attempted to juxtapose the disparate cubist styles of Picasso and Léger. In addition, the use of color suggested a haphazard melange of clashing styles." Furthermore, Data was not too happy with "the unsettling overtones of proto-Vulcan influences." When a hologram of Crell Moset proposed a medical procedure endangering a cytoplasmic lifeform, which had attached itself to B'Elanna Torres, in 2375 The Doctor protested as this lifeform could be its species' Picasso or Einstein. (VOY: "Nothing Human")

The 23rd century shuttlecraft Picasso was named in Pablo Picasso's honor.
