Oysters Rockefeller is a rich Earth food. It is made of a combination of oysters, spinach, parsley, and parmesan cheese, topped with a rich white sauce of butter, flour, and milk, among other things.
Because the dish is so rich, it was named after a rich American from the late 1800s, John D. Rockefeller.
On their first date, Odo and Kira Nerys had oysters Rockefeller with a '55 Dom Perignon, although Odo wasn't aware it was the real Major Kira. (DS9: "His Way")
