Onara was a member of the Bajoran Militia, who served on Deep Space 9. In 2372, his daughter turned fourteen. He asked Benjamin Sisko to give his blessing at her ih'tanu ceremony, to which Sisko agreed. (DS9: "Accession")

Onara was played by David Carpenter.
