Odo Junior was the appellation initially suggested by Doctor Mora Pol for the lifeform discovered on L-S VI in 2370, which shared DNA patterns similar to that of Changelings.
After fellow researcher Doctor Weld Ram took his initial scans, it was revealed that the lifeform was composed of a vegetative silicate, indicating a possible connection to Odo's origin. As Odo observed it intently, and the lifeform exhibited shapeshifting abilities, Dr. Mora enticed Odo by suggestively inquiring "Odo Junior, perhaps?" (DS9: "The Alternate")
