Captain Nu'Daq
Gender: Male
Species: Klingon
Rank: Captain
Actor: John Cothran, Jr.

Captain Nu'Daq was the commanding officer of the Klingon attack cruiser, IKS Maht-H'a.

In 2369, Nu'Daq represented the Klingon Empire in collecting DNA fragments that would create a program made by the Progenitors. Nu'Daq originally thought that the DNA fragments were the designs of an ancient weapon of great power. When he collected one DNA sample from Indri VIII, he destroyed the planet's atmosphere, killing all life on the planet's surface, preventing any other party from procuring another DNA sample.

Nu'Daq participated with Data in the B'aht Qul challenge, which Data effortlessly won. In anger at such an easy defeat, Nu'Daq initiated a fight with Data by headbutting him but Data was uninjured while Nu'Daq was dazed by the attack.

After the Maht-H'a was disabled by a Cardassian attack, Nu'Daq accompanied the crew of the USS Enterprise-D to Vilmor II where the final DNA fragments were collected, revealing the recording of a a humanoid female expressing a message of peace and cooperation. Nu'Daq was extremely disapointed at the results of their efforts, remarking that if the humanoid in the recording were not dead, he would have killed her. (TNG: "The Chase")
