Norman Snow (29 March 195028 November 2022; age 72) was the actor who played Torin in the Star Trek: The Next Generation sixth season episode "Rightful Heir".

Hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas, Snow is best known for playing the evil Xur in The Last Starfighter (1984). Among the cast were fellow Star Trek performers Marc Alaimo, Barbara Bosson, Kay E. Kuter, and Meg Wyllie. Snow appeared in a handful of other films, including The Europeans (1979) and Manhunter (1986).

Snow was a veteran of television daytime soap operas, having had recurring roles on The Edge of Night, As the World Turns, Guiding Light, General Hospital, Another World, and Days of Our Lives. He also made guest appearances on Spenser: For Hire, starring Avery Brooks, in 1986; and Quantum Leap in 1992, starring Scott Bakula and Star Trek: Enterprise guest actor Dean Stockwell.

Other television series on which Snow appeared include Crime Story (in an episode with Bill Smitrovich and David Soul), L.A. Law (with Corbin Bernsen, Robert Curtis Brown, Larry Drake, Samantha Eggar, Harvey Jason, Lawrence Tierney, and Tom Wright), Law & Order, Beverly Hills, 90210, and two episodes of Profiler (one with Craig Wasson and another with Lawrence Dobkin). Additionally, he was seen in such television movies as Going Underground (with Bruce McGill), Two Voices (with Vaughn Armstrong and Casey Biggs), and Hefner: Unauthorized (with Bill Bolender, Pat Healy and Jim Metzler).
