Nikki Tyler-Flynn is the actress who played Seven of Nine's mother, Erin Hansen, in the Star Trek: Voyager fourth season episodes "Scorpion, Part II" and "The Raven". She has been married to actor and comedian Jackie Flynn.

For "Scorpion, Part II", Tyler filmed her scenes on second unit on Thursday 17 July 1997 on location at the grassy area in front of the Paramount Administration Building on the Paramount Pictures lot. She is listed as "Mother" on the call sheet and had a makeup call at 7:15 am and a set call at 8:45 am. She filmed her scenes under second unit director Michael DeMeritt with fellow actors David Anthony Marshall and Erica Bryan and their stand-ins Keith Rayve, Cameron, and June Jordan. She is also listed as "Mother" on the call sheet and in the end credits of the episode "The Raven" for which she filmed her scenes on Monday 28 July 1997 on Paramount Stage 16.

Tyler's previous television experience include two episodes of The John Larroquette Show (1995-1996) and episodes of Alien Nation, Murphy Brown (1996), and 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996). She was later seen on such television series as Alright Already (1997, with Maury Sterling), The Wayans Bros. (1998), Seven Days (1999, with Norman Lloyd, Scarlett Pomers, and Alan Scarfe), 7th Heaven (2002, starring Stephen Collins), Malcolm in the Middle (2006), and Desperate Housewives (2006, starring Teri Hatcher, Alfre Woodard, and Mark Moses).

Tyler has also been seen in the comedy Me, Myself & Irene (2000), the animated adventure Osmosis Jones (2001, featuring the voice of William Shatner), and the comedy Stuck on You (2003, with Seymour Cassel, Googy Gress, Tracey Ruggiero, and Maria Celeste Genitempo).

Tyler had a recurring role on the sitcom The King of Queens (2001-2006). Other Star Trek performers she has worked with on this show are Lisa Banes and Dakin Matthews. She is also known for her role in the 2010 high school comedy Easy A, with Malcolm McDowell and Bobby C. King.

More recent projects include guest roles in episodes of General Hospital: Night Shift (2007, with Justin Rodgers Hall) and Weeds (2010, with John Fleck), the sport comedy Here Comes the Boom (2012, with Reggie Lee and Shelly Desai), and the comedy sequel Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (2015, with Neal McDonough, Shelly Desai, Robert Clendenin, Lorenzo James Henrie, Cory DeMeyers, and Bill Blair).
