New Paris was an inhabited planet. Prior to stardate 2821, the New Paris colonies were established on this planet. These colonies were located near Makus III.
In 2267, these colonies were stricken by a fast spreading plague, and the USS Enterprise was sent to transport medical supplies to Makus III for transfer to the colonies. (TOS: "The Galileo Seven")
In 2328, the starbase located at this planet was the point of embarkation for Wendy Neuss, who was traveling by a commercial transport to her destination on planet Alpha Braga VII. In 2370, when Data was verifying the story of Doctor Juliana O'Donnell that both she and Noonien Soong were passengers on a transport traveling from Omicron Theta to Mavala IV , the passenger manifest of Neuss was displayed on the Commercial transport database.
