Neuroelectricity is the scientific term used to describe the voltage produced within a biological brain.
In 2373, Lieutenant Commander Tuvok had a neurocortical monitor implanted by The Doctor, which monitored Tuvok's neuroelectricity in order to prevent the crippling side effects associated with his flashbacks. (VOY: "Flashback")
Later that year, Lieutenant Tom Paris suffered neuroelectric shock from the weapons of the Swarm species. (VOY: "The Swarm")
