Necrobiosis was a disease found among the Dinaali.

The Dinaali Hospital Ship 4-2 automatically scanned visitors for necrobiosis before they were allowed access to the rest of the facility. (VOY: "Critical Care")

There is a real disease called necrobiosis lipoidica diabeticorum, which is a skin condition that occurs rarely in individuals with diabetes.
