Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Hill grew up in England and received her BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham in 2000. After she worked for three years as a chemical engineer in New Mexico she decided to become and actress and moved to Los Angeles in 2002.
After Hill starred in several stage plays, she was featured in commercials for labels such as Pepsi, Bud Lighjt, Microsoft, and AT&T. She was cast in leading roles for the independent productions Cowboys and Indians, The Hitchhiker, and Bread upon Water. Further film work includes the drama A Good Day to Be Black & Sexy (2008) and the comedy He's Just Not That Into You (2009, with Cristine Rose and Googy Gress).
Hill had background and featured roles in the television series CSI: New York (2007, with Robert Joy, Robert Picardo, Anthony Molinari, and Paul Scott) and Life (2008, with Titus Welliver, Victor Rivers, and Marc Worden) and played the recurring role of Angel in three episodes of the drama series Runaway Stars (2008).
