Command (NCC-4000) appears as part of a pennant on a container pod, at one time connected to the Template:ShipClass starship NCC-3801. (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock)
Background
- The registry, like the class, was originally derived from the Star Fleet Technical Manual. The actual phrase (which was obfuscated on the display by the host ship's warp nacelle) is Star Fleet Transport Command. According the that book, the pod's registry, NCC-4000, indicates that she is a member of the Starliner series of transport pods.
