Will and Kyle Riker

Will and Kyle Riker in front of Mount McKinley

Mount McKinley was a mountain in Alaska, the highest point on Earth's North American continent.

In 2151, Jonathan Archer described an asteroid's mountain which was destroyed by Enterprise NX-01's phase cannons overloading to have been the size of Mount McKinley. (ENT: "Silent Enemy")

In March 2153, former NX-class test pilot A.G. Robinson was killed while climbing Mount McKinley. (ENT: "First Flight")

The mountain was known as Mount McKinley from 1917 until 2015, but is currently again officially known by its original name, Denali.
The Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 56) stated that the mountain is some 6,168 meters above sea level and that it was formerly named after American president William McKinley.
