Morgan Farley (3 October 189811 October 1988; age 90) who made two appearances on Star Trek. Farley filmed his scenes for "The Return of the Archons" on Monday 12 December 1966 at Desilu Stage 10. He filmed his scenes for "The Omega Glory" on Thursday 21 December 1967 and Friday 22 December 1967 at Stage 11.

Along with Judith Anderson, Walter Bacon, Bill Borzage, Jane Crowley, Richard Hale, Anthony Jochim, Felix Locher, Celia Lovsky, Leonard Mudie, Charles Seel, Bill Borzage, Abraham Sofaer, Eleanore Vogel, and Ian Wolfe, he is one of only fourteen Star Trek guest stars born in the 19th century to appear in any episode or film, in addition to the three credited Star Trek production staffers Franz Bachelin, Ernest Haller, and Byron Haskin. He was already close to seventy at the time that he made his two Star Trek appearances.

Born in Mamaroneck, New York, Farley began his acting career in 1929. He played a large number of mostly small parts in movies, and during the middle of his career, television. He also played a role in the Broadway musical "Seventeen".

During the Second World War, Farley served as an officer in the US Army. Records of his time in the Army are fragmentary at best (his personnel file was destroyed in 1973 during a major fire at a federal records building), however as he would have been in his late 40s at the time, it is doubtful he saw much front-line combat. Even so, a record from 1944 does exist showing Farley as a patient in a military hospital.

Farley died eight days after his ninetieth birthday in October 1988.
