Monisola Akiwowo (born August 1986; age 37) is an actress who appeared as an Enterprise nurse in Star Trek Into Darkness.

Akiwowo grew up in Indianapolis and Chicago. Between 2002 and 2006, she attended the Northwestern University in Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Akiwowo then moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

Prior to her Star Trek appearance, Akiwowo worked on the short comedy Fluffenhaus: The Comeback of a Pop Culture Icon (2009), the short fantasy drama To Beauty (2011), and was featured in episodes of Desperate Housewives (2011, with Teri Hatcher, Vanessa Williams, Mark Moses, Kevin Rahm, Brenda Strong, John Rubinstein, Tony Plana, Kristopher Logan, and Pablo Soriano; directed and executive produced by Larry Shaw) and Parks and Recreation (2011, with Adam Scott and Jim O'Heir).

She was featured in regional commercials for CA Lottery and Luna and national commercials for Nike, Hershey's, and U.S. Cellular. She also did print ads for Virgin America, Bizarre Los Angeles: Julian Hotel, Dove, Cheerios, and Paper Dresses.

Following guest roles in Zack and Anton Save the World (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2014, with Patrick Fabian), Akiwowo wrote two episodes, starred as the title character in, and executive produced the web-series Clara Grace (2015-2016, edited by Gerry Sackman).

More recent projects include the One Mississippi episode "Let the Good Times Roll" (2016) and James Franco's comedy Zeroville (2016, with Mark Casimir Dyniewicz and stunt coordination by Todd Bryant).
