The Mission Control Center (or Ground Control Center) was a NASA facility in the mid-20th century. Its motto was, "Res Gesta Par Excellentiam" ("Achievement Through Excellence"). Manned space programs are controlled from this facility.
In 2143, there were three assignment patches for this facility displayed in the 602 Club. (ENT: "First Flight")
The first MCC patch was designed by Robert McCall, who, as well, was responsible for the Apollo 17 patch. This patch honored the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs with their symbols. [1] There were two of these patches on display in the club.
